HID is looking for a Senior Strategy & M&A Manager to join the Identification Technologies (IDT) Business Area (BA).

 

As the Senior Strategy & M&A Manager, you will lead the Strategy & M&A team at IDT and drive the formulation and execution of IDT's business strategy. You will have direct access to the BA’s executive decision-makers and collaborate closely with the IDT management team to own and run high-priority strategy and M&A projects, from ideation to execution.

 

In this highly visible role, you will report directly to the Vice President of Revenue Operations, Strategy & M&A at IDT and have one direct report (separate recruitment process ongoing for a Strategy & M&A Manager).

The location for the position is in Stockholm, Sweden and includes occasional traveling.

As IDT’s Senior Strategy & M&A Manager, you will support our continued success by:

Leading and developing IDT’s Strategy & M&A team (one direct report to be hired). Owning and driving strategic projects and initiatives from ideation to execution. Owning IDT’s overall strategy as well as providing strategic support to IDT’s 10 business units (BUs) around the world. Owning and running M&A projects ranging from target scanning to commercial due diligence and integration of acquired companies. Delivering extensive market and competitive analyses to drive business insights and support decision-making. Owning the development of strategy & M&A presentations to ASSA ABLOY Group and HID Management.

Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills in combination with a practical and action-oriented mindset. Collaborative personality and mindset being a true team player. Ability to effectively manage various stakeholders, building trust, and influencing across geographies, functions and executive levels.

 

Your Experience and Education include: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics or Engineering. Master’s Degree valued. 4-6 years of relevant professional experience from top-tier management consulting, strategy/business development line role, investment banking or similar. High proficiency with Microsoft products especially Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Ability to travel internationally when needed. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
