We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Testing CoE to join our Integrated Compliance Services team at MBPS. In this role, you are responsible on leading and managing the compliance testing and monitoring of end-to-end compliance testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, reporting, and issue remediation across all lines of covered business areas. The role ensures that the organization complies with applicable insurance laws, regulations, and internal policies, and plays a key role in identifying and mitigating regulatory risks through a robust testing framework.
Position Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
Lead and manage the compliance testing team in providing strategic direction, setting clear goals, coaching, performance evaluation and performance management.
Supports the director and management team in the execution of the plans, visions and initiatives aligning with the company strategies.
Assists in preparing report and presentations for senior leadership and business stakeholders
Testing & Monitoring
Develop and maintain an annual compliance testing plan aligned with internal guideline, local regulatory expectations and enterprise risk assessments.
Execute testing engagements, including planning, documentation, and reporting.
Ensure testing activities are well-documented; records are accurately safe kept and aligned with industry best practices.
Ensure timely identification, escalation, and resolution of compliance issues.
Ensure strict adherence to established timelines
Monitor changes in insurance regulations and adjust testing strategies accordingly.
Promote innovation in testing approaches, including the use of data analytics and automation tools.
Reporting & Issue Management
Prepare detailed reports on testing results, root cause analysis, and remediation recommendations.
Track and validate corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of compliance issues.
Present findings and trends to senior management, internal audit, and regulatory bodies as needed.
Required Qualifications:
5 years of strong experience in Compliance Testing or Audit (External or Internal), with a focus on AML-ATF, Privacy, distribution compliance, and related themes, along with 3 years of cumulative leadership experience.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably related to Banking, Finance, Insurance, Accounting or related course.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) designation is a plus.
Ability to lead and manage team members and foster staff development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in negotiating, influencing, and relationship building skills.

Strong ethical compass and disciplined
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of management in the organization.
Ability to facilitate decision making across groups in the company.

Comprehensive knowledge of the financial services industry with an advanced understanding of the Company’s businesses
Advanced understanding of the regulatory environment in which the Company operates and a strong understanding of key compliance requirements applicable to the business.
Ability to represent business internally within the company and externally outside of the company (e.g. regulators, industry peers)
