Reporting to the Vice President, People and Culture, the Senior Manager, Total Rewards & Systems will play a key role in shaping our total rewards strategy to ensure we attract, retain, and engage diverse talent while delivering a best-in-class employee value proposition. **What you bring:**
+ Degree in HR/Business or related discipline with a minimum of 7 years of senior HR experience in a medium to large-sized organization, withexperience in a unionized environment preferred.i
+ Proven leadership abilities, with at least 5 years of experience leading a team.
+ A minimum of 4 years in progressively complex roles related to compensation and pensions.
+ Expertise in managing compensation programs, benefit and pension plans, and HR systems (preferably Workday).
+ Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) or other related Human Resources designation(s) preferred.
+ Expert knowledge of pension laws, regulations, and compliance guidelines, ensuring all pension-related activities adhere to current legal and regulatory standards.
+ In-depth knowledge of compensation, benefits and pension plan design, job evaluations and HR metrics and reporting.
+ Strong financial acumen, project management experience, and a business-driven approach to HR.
+ Excellent facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
**What** **you'll** **do:**
+ Provide expert oversight of BCAA’s compensation strategies, including base pay, variable pay, job evaluations, pay transparency and pay equity, ensuring that they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
+ Oversee the benefits administration program, manageannual open enrollment, collaborate with vendors, brokers and stakeholdersensure compliance with all applicable benefits administration regulations.
+ Lead and oversee the Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) pension programs, fostering strong relationships with third-party vendors, managing escalated pension cases, and ensuring that everything aligns strategically with BCAA's broader goals.
+ Take charge of HR systems and Workday, driving strategic updates, and collaborating closely with IT to enhance systems that support the long-term success and growth of the organization.
+ Dive deep into compensation, pension, benefits and people metrics, offering insightful reports and leading initiatives that identify opportunities for improvement while minimizing risks and ensuring positive outcomes for all employees.
+ Cultivate an environment of growth and development for your team, empowering them through coaching, stretch goals, and a focus on internal talent development, helping to strengthen bench depth and create a pipeline of future leaders.
The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 12.5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 20%.
