Role Description

The Senior Manager, Value Based Solutions Learning is accountable for designing and delivering exceptional learning programs to ensure colleagues within the Value Based Solutions business unit—and across all associated roles—are set up for success. This role encompasses both onboarding programs and ongoing learning strategies to meet the evolving needs of team members and the business. The Senior Manager will partner with stakeholders across the organization to develop standardized learning processes, support role-specific and ongoing development, and monitor the effectiveness of programs. This position focuses on driving scalable, impactful approaches to learning and development, contributing to performance, engagement, and retention outcomes. While the role may not immediately include direct reports, there is potential for team leadership in the future.

Responsibilities

Partner with leaders across the Value Based Solutions business unit to identify both onboarding and ongoing learning needs, develop solutions, and implement programs that address role-specific priorities and organizational objectives.Define and document clear role expectations, skills, and outcomes in collaboration with role experts, field leaders, and operational partners.Ensure the effective delivery of learning programs by training and supporting facilitators and field leaders, as relevant.Develop and maintain comprehensive learning roadmaps that address the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding through ongoing development—with clear success metrics and plans for continuous improvement.Monitor and assess program effectiveness through feedback, performance data, and business outcomes, identifying opportunities to enhance engagement, development, and retention.Create and maintain job aids, SOPs, and other resources to support both new hire and ongoing learning needs.Track and analyze key data, including recruitment, retention, and performance metrics, to identify opportunities for impact and alignment with organizational goals.Collaborate with organizational leaders to design learning strategies that address future skills and evolving priorities in the Value Based Solutions business unit.Perform other duties as assigned.

We’re looking for motivated individuals with:

Bachelor’s degree required5-7+ years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare operations and/or in learning & development, talent management, or a related fieldPrior experience CVS Health Healthcare Delivery field operations or similar environments strongly preferredStrong program development and project management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and influence without direct authorityExperience designing and implementing scalable learning programsAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and measure program impactHighly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skillsComfortable navigating change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environmentUS work authorizationSomeone who embodies being “Oaky”

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
