Senior Manager, Product Strategy, Advice Offerings

Job Description

You blend strategic thinking with a passion for delivering results, while being laser focused on providing value to our customers, participants, and internal business partners. As a member of the Workplace Managed Account Strategy team, you will collaborate with your team and our business partners to establish strategic direction for PPA-W by conducting market, competitive research and/or analysis to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities. You will partner with other to influence strategic decisions and roadmaps and execute on specific deliverables. You will also be committed to maintaining and developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role.

The Team

As part of the Workplace Managed Account Product Area, the strategy team, is responsible for establishing the product’s next 2-3-year strategy by interpreting market signals, understanding clients and customers’ needs and assessing competitive landscape to define the top growth opportunities, ideate and enhance existing or incubate new offerings. As a team, we believe that balancing collaboration with strategic thinking infused by data-driven outside-in insights would lead to the best possible outcomes.

The Value You Deliver Work with Product Area and Group/Squad leadership to maintain a backlog of opportunities by developing business cases, product roadmaps, eventual go-to-Market strategies, and Thought Leadership Work across the Product Area to facilitate prioritization, resourcing, and outcomes Communicate externally with partners to ensure teams are building the right solutions to meet customer needs, communication status and buffers team from potential distractions Build credibility and trust with a diverse set of partners to influence Group/Squad goals and visions Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to bring an outside-in perspective to help shape strategy and inform prioritization for the Tribe and Squads Leverage outside-in insights to develop hypothesis and identify top bets Lead ideation, shaping of new strategies  Incubate early stage concepts to test and refine market potential Develop executive level communications for internal and external use Participate in and facilitate regular strategic planning discussions   The Expertise You Have Experience in management consulting and/or product strategy, and/or distribution strategy is strongly preferred Financial services experience preferred, but not required Bachelor’s or equivalent with 5+ years of experience The Skills You Bring Experience working in a fast-paced environment, testing and learning to optimize impact Data-driven attitude to frame market opportunities and inform “key strategic questions” Continuous improvement mindset and intellectual curiosity Excellent consultative, listening, communication, and analytical skills Customer obsessed and have proven commitment to delivering frequent, high business value Ability to see opportunities for innovation and taking thoughtful risks to get the work done better and faster Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills to navigate a demanding environment and influence stakeholders with a range of priorities and perspectives
