About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 11 S&P Global Market Intelligence The Role: Sr. Manager - Quality The Location: Gurgaon/HYD/AMD Grade : 11 The Team: The Quality function at Public Ownership Operations group is responsible for establishing reports/edit checks for the data collected by operations teams. Team is accountable for quality practices to simulate quality as experienced by our customers. Collaborate with operations teams in defect prevention and elimination efforts, furthermore influence the design of processes and help organization drive process reengineering/transformational efforts. The Impact: This role is response to oversee Quality function across public ownership domain. Consistently evaluate and drive quality practices which in turn helps in delivering best in class products to our customers. Data quality is the bedrock of everything we do at S&P. Responsibilities: Independently manage a team of 25-30 individuals through Asstn Managers & Managers. Teams could be located across various sites or regions. Derive intelligence from sampling, customer feedback and operations error pattern. Analyze trends, patterns and provide meaningful insights. Constantly evaluate quality practices and try to embed quality into the design of the process As a senior member of the quality function provide input to Quality strategy Translate organizational strategy into executable goals, with laser sharp focus on execution. An enthusiastic leader with eagerness to continuously learn and contribute Accountable for talent Development, engagement and performance management Drive the culture of quality and actively represent the operations group What We’re Looking For: Strong communication skills, with ability to engage with varying degree of audience Strong analytical skills and data-oriented mindset Passion to lead people, engage with multi-generational workforce and develop leaders of future Be customer obsessed. An independent thinker, an avid collaborator and relentless executor Basic Qualifications: Should have team management experience of 4 – 6 years Green Belt Certification and exposure to Quality Concepts is a must. Knowledge of Data Analysis and visualization tools. Full time MBA or Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university. Preferred Qualifications: 1- 2 years of experience in Quality Function.
