Job Description:
The analyst will use quantitative methods to drive targeted results and is responsible for maintaining appropriate credit strategy controls. Strong analytical skills are required with extensive experience manipulating large data sets using SQL and SAS. This role also requires the development of data analysis to understand strategy performance and drive strategy enhancements.
Experienced analytical professional to join our team as a strategy analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for several key areas:
Responsibilities:
Independently simulate complex strategies and attributes using SAS to validate they are working as designed/intended by leveraging sources such as DSG, UCRA, BLAZE, Meta Data Defines, etc.Analyze data to determine root causes and summarize Client, Revenue and Regulatory/Policy impacts.Package findings for socialization with Strategies, Business Enablement, Legal, Risk, Compliance and senior leaders which articulates associated risks and recommendations.Network to ensure coverage of remediation, socialization, short and long term fixes.Requirements
Education :
Advanced degree, in Computer science, Engineering, Information technology, or similar, preferred from a premier institute.Technical certifications in SAS, SQL preferred.Experience Range:
9 - 10 years of relevant experience using SAS, SQL for data analytics.U.S financial services experience preferableUnderstanding of credit card domains preferableFoundation Skills:
Ability to dive into complex data structures across multiple LOB to quickly acquire in depth knowledge and demonstrate impact in a timely manner.10+ years programming and analytics experience with SAS/SQL, Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint and at least intermediate level coding in python.Building dashboards in Tableau for visualizationProject manage skills, ability to foster collaboration and leverage business partner knowledge and relationships to gain necessary insight.Demonstrate a curious nature and question what doesn’t make sense.Ability to remain flexible and juggle multiple complex work streams at a time.Desired Skills
