Senior Manager/ Associate Director, Brokerage Support

This role is essential in ensuring effective and efficient implementation of compliance & legal initiatives and actions of brokerage channel while supporting the channel growth. Strong problem-solving skills, time management and attention to details are essential qualities for this role. With minimal exercises sound independent judgement and work independently related to channel compliance and legal related aspects associated with the brokerage business.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Implement compliance/legal related control & monitoring policies and procedures applicable to the brokerage channel, ensuring alignment with regulatory and company requirements.
+ Work with internal departments, including compliance, legal, risk management, operations, IT, etc to ensure comprehensive compliance frameworks execution across the brokerage channel.
+ Stay up-to-dated with changes in regulations and company compliance/legal related policies impacting the brokerage channel and communicate these changes effectively for brokerage channel.
+ Manage compliance-related incidents and investigation and coordinate with stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of results.
+ Collaborate with compliance, internal audit, legal team, risk management on regular compliance and risk assessments and audits to identify potential issues and;
+ Implement follow up/corrective action plans and operation related initiatives where applicable
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
+ Minimum 6 years’ working experience in life insurance industry, at least 3 years’ experience with key focus in distribution compliance related aspects
+ Good understanding of brokerage culture and its control and monitoring aspects
+ Project implementation experience preferred
+ Professional designation in FLMI or insurance related designation is an advantage
+ Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
