**JOB SUMMARY**
The Senior Manager will support Global Brand Marketing for The Ritz-Carlton and Ritz-Carlton Reserve and will report into the Senior Director, Luxury Brands for The Ritz-Carlton. In addition, this role supports key initiatives for the Marriott International Luxury Group such as the high-net worth strategy and implementation of guest segmentation. This individual will oversee a variety of projects ranging from strategy to execution and will play a critical role in content development for The Ritz-Carlton and Ritz-Carlton Reserve. The role requires connectivity with various internal groups, including digital and social; retail; loyalty; portfolio marketing; partnerships and continent marketing teams. In addition, this role will also support U.S. and Canada hotels and resorts providing guidance around brand standards.
This role supports efforts in defining the marketing and brand strategy in a way that is consistent with the brand business models and creates maximum profitability. This includes driving brand prestige, building brand preference and awareness as well as driving both impressions and engagement across all channels. The Senior Manager, Luxury Brands will focus on these priorities 1) support the development of the long-term brand strategy and multi-year planning efforts, 2) direct the execution of the brand marketing priorities, campaigns, partnerships, and events including continent and cross-functional resources, and 3) managing the business model & driving brand performance. This role also focuses on supporting workstreams that accelerate prestige, perception and awareness requiring strong engagement with continent teams and properties globally.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
**Education and Experience Required**
• 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related major.
• 6+years’ experience in a relevant marketing role or in the hospitality industry, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.
**Education and Experience Preferred**
• Experience with luxury brands
• Experience managing and defining transformational strategies for business units.
• Excellent presentation skills to include large scale presentations and small group meetings.
• Ability to provide seamlessly provide oversight of multiple projects at any given time.
• Global sensibility and experience
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results under difficult conditions, particularly when faced with complexity and ambiguity.
**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
Key responsibilities and initiatives include:
**Marketing Strategy, Execution & Brand Standards**
• Support of ongoing brand campaigns for The Ritz-Carlton and Ritz-Carlton Reserve to include strategy, creative development, creative delivery, as well as management and coordination with media agency on planning, execution, and reporting.
• Oversight of content creation for The Ritz-Carlton to include custom content across social, editorial, email, and .com including ongoing content series, partnership content support, and hotel pull-through.
• Development and refinement of brand standards to include evolved guidelines, such as experiential photography, hotel toolkit for brand campaign pull-through, and hotel partnership guidelines.
• Management of owned channel content calendar to ensure coordination and execution of key campaign themes throughout the year.
• Ideation around and execution of key partnerships for The Ritz-Carlton. Includes coordination with external partners and agencies, support and deployment of experiential activations, and resulting asset development for digital and social channels.
• Coordination with UX, digital, and hotel website teams to troubleshoot, advise on content distribution, and launch new enhancements for .com experience.
• Development and delivery of presentation materials for key meetings including with General Managers, Directors of Sales and Marketing, Continent teams, Owners and Developers, and external agencies and partners.
• Management of multiple projects with agencies from monthly email creation to social/digital creative to guidelines and toolkits.
• Support of ongoing brand campaign evolution for The Ritz-Carlton to include rollout of new creative assets and hotel toolkit development.
• Communication on brand strategy, marketing framework, positioning, voice and strategic pillars, competitive environment across internal and external teams.
• Helps to develop and drive execution of communication strategies associated with launching tactics/deliverables in support of the brand strategies and stated performance goals.
• Represents brand in external forums (eg: GM conferences, owners’ meetings, advisory committee meetings, etc).
• Act as Brand Champion to stakeholders – owners, customers, executives and associates within HQ and market. Builds strong relationships with continent teams and hotels to ensure the brand culture and communications come to life on property, driving pull-through of the brand promise.
**Collaboration with Cross-Functional Luxury Teams**
• Development of marketing tactics to amplify key brand programs through close coordination with Brand Management leads on initiatives including ongoing brand culture support, enhancements to guest experience, and support of programs including Ritz Kids, Community Footprints, Ambassadors of the Environment, and Club.
• Collaboration with luxury public relations team in reviewing annual plans and helping to drive key initiatives.
• Support for luxury guest segmentation initiatives for the Marriott Luxury Group, which will include partnering with content and email team to deliver ongoing communication through monthly emails, social and other digital channels.
• Coordination with cross-functional teams including Retail, Global Cards, and Portfolio on marketing efforts that include The Ritz-Carlton, including campaigns, Marriott Moments packages, and email communications.
• Collaboration with Ritz-Carlton Residences team on new project developments, property positionings, and on-strategy marketing communications that follow brand standards.
**Openings and Continent Support**
• Ongoing support and guidance for US and Canada hotels, including reviewing photography requests, collateral development and providing a point-of-view on tactical plans and partnerships.
• Coordination with Field Marketing and Area Directors of Marketing on luxury campaigns,
• Support for luxury continent teams, providing counsel on key initiatives and brand pull-through in Europe, Middle East & Africa; Caribbean & Latin America; APEC; and Greater China. This will include regular meetings and coordination of marketing plans.
• Ongoing support for multiple opening global hotels to include content creation and integration across owned channels. This will include significant support for opening hotels in the US which will extend to positioning, advising on collateral, launch plans and coordination with external teams, such as agencies.
**Maintaining Goals**
• Submits deliverables including presentations and reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
• Promotes the documenting of project progress accurately, including status reports for various stakeholders.
• Provides input and assistance to other teams regarding projects, specifically counsel on brand standards and presentation.

The salary range for this position is $108,300 to $163,800 annually.
