The Senior Manager Building Maintenance is responsible for the management of the building maintenance team for the effective and efficient operation and maintenance of the Building Structure, Exterior & Interior Fittings & Furniture in the Galaxy Macau Casino and Resort and Broadway Macau in support of operations in Gaming & Non-gaming, Hotel, Food & beverage and administrations as Enterprise Services
Primary Responsibility1. Maintenance of the building structure furniture fittings and equipment ensuring a continued excellent level of property presentation that supports business continuity and the ongoing safety and comfort of our guests and team members. 2. Manage and lead the Managers Supervisors and Senior Technicians providing support through team meetings, on the job training, succession planning and career development. 3. Effectively manage the door inspection and maintenance program. 4. Develop effective relationships within the Engineering and Facilities team and across the Galaxy Macau Business Units and Service Providers. 5. Initiate the planned preventative maintenance program for the building structure furniture fittings and equipment using O&M Manuals for guidance with routines scheduled through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo) ensuring compliance with statutory maintenance and testing. 6. Comply with established policies and procedures. 7. Conduct routine audits, quality assurance inspections, risk assessments maintenance trend analysis and other routine technical management tools to ensure continual improvement. 8. Active participant in the delivery of Galaxy Macau environmental initiatives providing support to the environmental task force. 9. Promote a culture of workplace Health and Safety through training and effective daily communication with the teams and enforcement of related policy and procedure. 10. Participate in Engineering and Facilities Operations Manager roster. 11. Maintain accurate records of both maintenance activities and personal performance that includes the establishment of KPI’s and appraisal reviews. 12. Development and continual improvement of Standard Operating and emergency procedures for building maintenance activities.
Requirements Formal qualification in a building trade or construction services discipline. Experience in building operation and maintenance in a large facility. Understanding of maintenance management strategies. Previous experience in a five-star casino / hotel highly regarded. Team spirit, cooperation and “CAN DO” attitude. Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of Applications.
