The Clinical Central Services and Innovation (CCSI) organization orchestrates solutions that strategically enhance clinical research awareness and accessibility while increasing diversity, reducing burden, and speeding trial execution. This group partners across functions within Clinical Design, Delivery and Analytics (CDDA) to influence trial design and deliver innovation solutions to support the execution of clinical trials globally for all business units across all phases of development.
The Senior Manager, Clinical Central Services and Innovation (CCSI) will collaborate and oversee the team focused on the design and delivery of clinical capabilities including but not limited to clinical trial resourcing solutions, community screening and mobile research event services, clinical emerging technology, digital solution enablement and logistics, alternate locations supporting clinical trial activities, ancillaries, kitting and vendor management. The Senior Manager provides supervision and leadership and is accountable for the prioritization, planning, and implementation of deliverables across the team.

Primary responsibilities as follows:
Lead group of direct reports (8 -12) including but not limited to:
Contribute to strategy and associated yearly goals and objectives leading staff in achieving strategy and goals.Recruit, develop and retain appropriately qualified staff, recommending, and implementing staffing decisions. Management and supervision of team including performance management, coaching, mentoring, reward, and recognition.Foster an environment of diversity and inclusion where staff feel comfortable speaking up and ideas are shared and openly.Oversee capability implementation, adherence to timelines, budget, performance metrics and management of resources to meet changes in the portfolio.Accountable for continuous improvement and proactive resolution of issues and/or challenges that arise within capability delivery.Ensure effective shared learning across the function and with other functional areas, as well as application of shared learning and best practices.Develop strong collaborative relationships with business partners, vendors, and leadership across functional areas as well as act as communication interface with these areas regarding activities, priorities, and feedback.Champion commitment to quality and ensur4e team deliverables maintain a state of inspection readiness.Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or medical related field or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 2 years of Supervisory experience.2 or more years of Clinical Research/Project Management experience.Other Information/Additional Preferences:
Understanding of the overall clinical development paradigm.Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others and lead across the business project management processes and skills.Appreciation of experience in compliance-driven environmentAbility to learn and comply with financial and legal guidelines and policies (budget and contract)Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Self-management and organizational skills.Work outside of core hours may be required to support the portfolio across the globe.May require travel domestically and international (less than 25%)Language Requirements: Must speak fluent English.
