Senior Manager - Commercial Strategy
**Job Purpose** The job holder will be responsible to develop and execute data-driven commercial strategies that maximize revenue growth, profitability, and market competitiveness through effective market analysis, commercial optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. **Key Accountabilities:** + Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies that align with organizational objectives and market trends, ensuring long-term growth and competitive advantage. + Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks, including market sizing, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting, to guide informed strategic decisions. + Create actionable business plans to support new initiatives and revenue streams, driving innovation and sustainable revenue growth. + Monitor key commercial performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency, to optimize business outcomes. + Lead initiatives to enhance product pricing strategies, channel mix, and revenue management, ensuring maximum profitability and market relevance. + Partner with sales, marketing, finance, and CX teams to ensure alignment on commercial initiatives and customer-centric strategies, fostering collaboration and consistent execution. + Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on market dynamics and commercial opportunities, enabling data-informed strategic decisions at the executive level. + Work closely with the CX team to incorporate customer insights into commercial strategy development, enhancing customer satisfaction and retention. + Develop strategies to enhance the customer lifecycle and maximize lifetime value, driving both customer loyalty and revenue growth. + Leverage advanced analytics to track market performance, customer behavior, and competitive positioning, ensuring decisions are guided by actionable insights. + Drive the adoption of tools and frameworks that enable data-driven decision-making across the commercial function, fostering a culture of analytics and continuous improvement. **Qualification:** + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. + An relevant certification – preferred + Min 6-8 years of progressive experience in commercial roles in developing and executing commercial strategies that drive business growth. + Proven track record of developing and executing successful commercial strategies. + Progressive experience in market analysis, business development/partnerships, sales/marketing strategy, and financial analysis/budgeting is desired. **Job Specific Skills:** + Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. + Proven ability to analyze market data, develop strategic plans, and translate them into actionable initiatives. + Deep understanding of commercial drivers, revenue models, and profitability metrics. + Expertise in conducting market research, analyzing market trends, and extracting actionable insights. + Proven ability to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and establish new business opportunities and strategic partnerships. + Deep understanding of sales and marketing principles and the ability to develop integrated commercial strategies. + Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams. + Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information and influence stakeholders.
