Within Mercer’s Health Practice, there are a number of specialty practices, including MercerWell. With over 90 consultants nationally, the MercerWell team works with clients to address the health of their employees, including strategies to improve quality and access to care, program delivery of population health management and organizational change management supporting employee engagement in health management programs.

In this role you will be responsible for serving the US region’s clients in health and wellness solutions:
Ensure the timely and accurate production and processing of relevant documents and information, including report preparation and optimization.Create templates and generate reports based on predefined templatesCollection and analysis of data, summarizing and documenting information for client presentation purposesLearn about and utilize industry leading tools in the development and execution of client work (e.g., HERO Scorecard, RFI database, Mercer survey data)Assist in processing and analyzing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process on behalf of a clientsSupporting call scheduling and project managing streamlined implementation activities, working with vendors and client teamsDeveloping summary reports to ensure alignment with scope and budget requirementsInteract with wide spectrum of vendors and other partners that support our clients’ health and benefits strategies and support program delivery / administrationSupport MercerWell subject matter experts with content development and client deliveryGain understanding of MercerWell suite of products and support MercerWell product team with delivery of solutionsTake the lead in new effificiency opportunities, successful deep dives, process mapping, and execute new process workUtilize SmartSheet, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint to create internal and external deliverablesResearch and help refine intellectual capital and internal marketing materialsNote: Applicants should be flexible working in shifts
What you need to have:
Knowledge & Skills:
Graduate with advanced degree in social work, public health, community development or related field preferredAt least 10+ years’ work / business experience (experience in the insurance or healthcare consulting industry is a plus)Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office— specifically Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge of data analysis, project management, and presentation design Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Act with a sense of urgency - demonstrating a proactive disposition and a “self-starter” mentality Ownership of delivery on assigned work through self-planning and monitoring of all activitiesIntellectual curiosity: seeking opportunities to develop new skills and apply critical thinking to solve problems Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate with others in a skillful and engaging manner Flexibility to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing client needs Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail Expertise in developing solutions in setting-up new processes and improving existing operational delivery with best use of lean project management methodologyDemonstrate the ability to analyze large volumes of complex information from various sources and distill key insights and findings Ability to conduct research based off a problem statement, identify possible solutions and synthesize findings into a report.Experience of working in onshore/ offshore modelThorough understanding of peer review process / QCAbility to work well within a team environment, and with other colleagues in a collegial, collaborative manner Ability to do multitasking/ manage multiple critical projects at a given point of time with conflicting priorities and being capable of ensuring optimum resourcing either by fast tracking or crashing techniquesExcellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple and complex tasks in a demanding work environmentDemonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving capabilitiesWillingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilitiesWhat makes you stand out?
