Senior Manager Corporate FP&A

Job Description:

The Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A, will play a key role in TransMedics' financial planning and analysis operations. This role will be responsible for administering management reporting and financial planning processes, driving centralized and harmonized reporting, and coordinating management month-end closing and financial planning deliverables. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to ensure accurate, efficient, and actionable financial insights for the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Serve as the administrator for financial planning and management reporting systems, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and process efficiency.Develop and maintain centralized and harmonized reporting frameworks to support consistent and actionable financial insights across the organization.Coordinate monthly management reporting processes, including month-end close deliverables, variance analysis, and executive presentations.Lead the preparation and consolidation of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans in collaboration with functional and business unit leaders.Partner with accounting and finance teams to ensure alignment between actuals and forecast data.Analyze key financial metrics, trends, and performance indicators, providing actionable recommendations to drive business decisions.Support the development and implementation of standardized templates and reporting tools for management use.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve reporting timelines and accuracy.Provide training and support to finance team members on system tools and reporting methodologies.Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls related to financial planning and reporting.

BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or a related finance role, with a strong emphasis on management reporting and financial planning systems.Advanced proficiency in financial planning and reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) and strong Excel skills.Proven ability to manage month-end close processes, financial planning cycles, and reporting deliverables.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data clearly.Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

MBA or CPAExperience in the healthcare, life sciences, or medical technology industry.Familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Workday Adaptive).Demonstrated success in streamlining financial processes and driving efficiency.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.Proactive problem-solver with a focus on delivering results and driving continuous improvement.
