Crew HQ

WBD has developed an innovative approach to UK workforce development in Film & TV production.  Designed to support existing crew, create career pathways for people of all backgrounds, and foster the next generation of talent, CrewHQ is an on-site training centre with a dedicated team delivering below-the-line skills activity for WBD feature films and high-end TV across the UK.

The mission is to develop talent, retain crew and create a diverse, skilled workforce using our studio facility, support services and WBD productions to deliver a unique sustainable pathway.

Your New Role...

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Liaison Senior Manager to lead the successful delivery of a diverse slate of programmes, initiatives, and courses at our new flagship training and education centre at Warner Bros. Leavesden.

Reporting to the Director of CrewHQ, you will be a strategic leader with strong operational management expertise, budget oversight skills, and a passion for closing the skills gaps in Film and High-End TV in the UK. You will also be responsible for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring all business functions—such as People & Culture, Compliance, Legal and Finance—align seamlessly to support the delivery of high-quality training solutions.

The post is based at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, five days a week and may involve regional and local travel.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Implement the strategy and budget outlined by Crew HQ Director, ensuring all programmes align with organizational goals and industry standards.Translate the strategic vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes by setting and communicating clear KPIs and delivery plansOversee the end-to-end delivery of training and development programmes for entry, mid, and senior-level crew across Warner Bros. Discovery HETV/ Film Productions, using industry knowledge and experience.Manage and lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals with expertise in Education and Film / TV Production to collaborate effectively. Aligning their efforts to achieve seamless programme delivery while maintaining full compliance with all requirements.Monitor and manage programme budgets to ensure all initiatives are delivered within allocated funding.Optimise resource allocation and implement cost-effective measures to achieve programme goals.Work collaboratively with the team to develop industry and non-profit partners, for example, BFI, London Screen Academy, RADA, NFTS and others to maintain existing relationshipsPartner with WBSL marketing to develop case studies, videos, impact reports etc. to showcase CrewHQ and our commitment to skills training internally and externally.To assist in the development of our marketing, ensuring that our voice is representative of a diverse production workforce

Qualifications & Experience...

Solid proven experience in Film / HETV ProductionExperience working in a multi-disciplinary / multi-stakeholder environmentA commitment to diversity, equity and inclusionStrong relationships and reputation within the UK screen sectorStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsA collaborative and adaptable leader

Please note the role will involve some travel and will require flexibility to be on location for short periods as needed

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
