The Analytics and Investment Management (AIM) team – a part of Global Commercial Services Marketing Organization – is the analytical engine that enables the Global Commercial business.
AIM is responsible for targeting, acquiring, engaging, and retaining commercial customers over online and offline channels and delivering world-class analytics, insights and data products for the Global Commercial Services (GCS). In this role, the incumbent will be part of Site – Prospect Digital Analytics team within AIM.
How will you make an impact in this role?
She/He will own end-to-end analytics required for driving, targeting & personalization strategies across one of the key acquisition channels for Amex US Commercial Card Business i.e. Amex Site.
Own the various phases of data science & analytical solutions from identifying business problems, crafting ML based solutions, socializing proposed architecture with partners, implementing solutions, tracking results, and presenting to senior leaders. Crafting data segmentation & optimization strategies for targeting profitable prospects with the right product/incentive in the Commercial Digital channels. Collaborate with Marketing teams on various initiatives including setting goals for the channel / influencing data-driven strategy changes / introducing personalization etc. Collaborate with Decision Science and Capabilities to manage, guide and build analytical solutions to improve targeting efficiency in Commercial Digital channels. Identify emerging trends across digital marketing landscape, identify impact on business from external changes, design innovative solutions to position Amex for success.Minimum Qualifications
Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or Economics) is required. Experience in large data processing and handling, deep understanding in data science XGBoost, decision trees, regression modeling, etc. Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, with a strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and encourage partners and team members to drive collaboration and alignment Strong analytical/conceptual thinking acumen to address unstructured and sophisticated business problems and articulate key findings to senior leaders/collaborators in a succinct and concise mannerPreferred Qualifications
Knowledge of digital technologies like cookies, search engine optimization, digital personalization, digital AB testing, digital footprint mechanisms, web-serving platforms etc. is a plus. Strong Programming skills are preferred. Experience with Big Data programming Languages (Hive, Spark), Python, R is a plus.Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
