Multi Discipline understanding and prior Experience in the following are a must:

 

Development of Overall Equipment layout from Conceptual to Final layouts with Sections & Elevations as per codes and standards.  Development of Overall Pipe rack layouts and Yard piping layouts.  Allocation / distribution of work to subordinate Engineers, PDS-PDMS Modellers, Auto-Plant Designers, Auto-CAD draftsmen.  Squad checking inter-disciplinary Drawings/Documents from civil/structural, electrical, Instrumentation etc. for project compliance requirements and value addition.  Pipe Supporting in accordance to support standards. Development of Nozzle orientation for tanks vessels etc. Developing Piping GAD’s from Conceptual to final with sections & elevations. Development of Technical specification, valve datasheet, special piping components, Pipe thickness design calculations etc.  Technical coordination with client. Estimation of man hours, Tender preparation. Technical bid evaluation of vendor specification, drawings etc.  Familiar with ASME, ANSI, API, BS, IS, OISD etc codes, standards and other statutory codes.  Coordination with Stress analysis (Auto pipe software, Caesar-II users) etc. Developing, scheduling and monitoring project deliverables.  Review Drawings & Documents as per code & Standards from Detail Engineering Consultant Safety Study – QRA/ RRA, HAZOP/HAZID, Operation Philosophy, inputs to Master planning, Expert level understanding of OISD norms(specially OISD 117/118/141/144/150/163/194/214/236/244), PNGRB guidelines, Petroleum Rules, Pollution board, etc. Good Proficiency knowledge in Mechanical Piping – Layouts, Equipment layouts,  Projects – Project Scope definition, Project planning inputs to project team, Identification of critical items of project, risk register, project coordination & scheduling. Site project execution, pre-commissioning & commissioning of atleast one major Oil & Gas project in India/ Abroad. Estimations(time sensitive) – Broad level cost estimates in short time period for high level decision making with backups & good database, Generating inputs for vendors & giving clarity to vendors for generating quick offers.  Special Preference: Port Projects & Operations Rail Fed POL depots, Truck/Pipeline fed LPG terminals Liquid & Gas tankfarms – Chemical, Hydrocarbons (Classified/ Non Classified), Hot & Cold cargo handling Aviation fuel farms and hydrant networks Cryogenic import terminal – LNG(regasification), LPG, Propylene, Ethane Pressurized mounded bullets/ Horton spheres – LPG, Ethylene, Propylene PESO & other statutory body dealing experience – Both in technical support & liaison representation.  Cross country pipelines – Oil & Gas Responsibilities: Manager of team (internal/ outsourced) in feasibility study, FEED , Basic engineering & support in detail engineering and commissioning. Provide support to construction team whenever required. Preparation of the technical Specifications, Scope of work, TOR, bulk BOQ extractions for CAPEX estimations and for hiring the Engineering Consultants for further downstream engineering activities. Responsible for scope of work for project/ consultants & internal teams. Single point of contact/ representative for inter departmental & external client interactions and dealing. Value Engineering: - Execution of the projects at optimum cost, meeting the requirement of user and without any major financial variation and ensuring specification compliance Support BD team in win-lost assessment to identify root causes and improvement actions for future. Extend support to Business Development teams as per business needs. Good analytical and reasoning required to guide team on approach looking at the expectation in highly volatile environment. Can propose prioritizing list to HOD in short span. Can read the situation & take appropriate steps to meet goals set by Department Manager/ HOD. Provide immediate advise/ suggestions to team/Manager/HOD on every aspect of department functioning and operations. Be willing to part take on short notice site visits/ interstate travel with complete understanding of expectation and goals and add value in every assignment to meet the deadlines/ quality of work. Excellent communicator and organizer. Have good working relations with all stakeholders: internal like business development, estimations, techno-commercial, Port site operations, other teams from different Adani verticals.  Quick learner and readily accept challenging work with a positive outlook and come what may approach. Works very closely with department head and other department heads. Sets realistic goals and leads by example.  Identify major bottlenecks within and outside department that may affect its functioning in present or future. Be a reviewer of assignments even after completion of assignments/ proposals.  Leading teams with overall accountability of assignment in the prescribed timelines. Understand department functioning and be very flexible to changes. Be ready to re-work number of times on assignments already completed. Be an excellent representative of Organization while dealing with external agencies from Government/ Clients.  Engage & Manage various consultants for achieving basic engineering

B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering with 15-20 Years of Experience
