Senior Manager / Director, Client Propositions

The Director, Client Propositions is responsible for the strategic design and introduction of effective propositions to connect client needs to our product solutions. This role is pivotal in significantly scaling our capacity to attract new customers to Manulife whilst enhancing engagement with existing customers, fostering customer loyalty and trust, building stronger, more enduring relationships as their trusted partner at every step of their life journey.

Position Responsibilities:

Spearhead Strategic Client Programmes: Lead the comprehensive lifecycle of our strategic client programmes including conceptualization, cost management, operational execution, technical enhancements, and digital integration to ensure seamless delivery and maximum impact.

Drive Strategic Propositions Development: Collaborate with key business stakeholders to define and refine the strategic propositions for our product solutions targeting specific customer segments, and shape and articulate the customer-centric narrative overarching these propositions.

Design and Lead Implementation of Activation Strategies: Develop a comprehensive and robust activation strategy and own the execution of engagement plans for our client programmes.

Optimize Programme Performance: Establish and execute performance evaluation measures for our programmes, leveraging data-driven insights to provide strategic recommendations for continuous optimization and enhancement.

Oversee Social Media Channels Governance: Manage the governance of our owned social media channels, ensuring adherence to standards and guidelines.

Uphold and Elevate Brand Standards: Ensure adherence to Manulife’s brand standards across all our creative assets, reinforcing our brand identity and focus on customer centricity.

Shape Brand, Content and Propositions Strategy: Drive initiatives that contribute to the overall Brand, Content and Propositions strategy to support Manulife’s ambition of becoming a Digital Customer Leader.

Champion Innovation and Best Practices: Stay abreast of the latest marketing trends, technologies and best practices, and recommend innovative enhancements to ensure our strategies remain highly effective and efficient.

Required Qualifications:

A results-driven professional with a university degree and minimum 10 years experience in financial institutions servicing retail, affluent and HNW clients, experience with insurance preferred.

Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing client propositions for financial institutions.

Strong technical knowledge of financial and insurance concepts.

Demonstrated competency in leading projects/initiatives end-to-end.

Good business acumen with strong strategic thinking and ideation skills.

Familiar with social media channel management and working within governance frameworks.

Possess a positive and agile mindset and excellent stakeholder management ability.
