Sr. Drawback Manager –Trade Services

Your role on the team:

The Senior Manager Drawback – Trade Services is responsible for overseeing the drawback operations of the Trade Services Department and all related drawback functions while maintaining a compliant, productive and profitable drawback program. Monitor team productivity in the preparation and filing of client’s drawback claims. Establish new drawback clients. Manage day to day drawback functions Evaluate current drawback functions and identify areas for improvement to increase productivity   Maintain high compliance related to the accuracy and filing of drawback claims Keeps abreast of new CBP regulations and industry best practices  Manage requests from CBP and ensures all are actioned timely.  Initiates and manage start up processes for new drawback clients Provide training to the drawback team handling new drawback accounts Resolve problems and implement corrective action

What you need: (requirements)

 ·         Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university preferred

·         Minimum 4 to 7 years relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

·         Brokerage License required for Customs Brokerage managers

·         Must be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

·         Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

·         Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

·         Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

·         Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

·         Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
