GTA - Project Engineering Leader
This position will oversee a multi-disciplined engineering team within our GTA India organization that provides engineering to order solutions for customer projects with our electrical equipment offer. This role will work closely with Global ETO engineering platform and the respective manufacturing facilities to coordinate ETO work content. The position will also support Schneider Electric’s middle office team, and commercial teams to provide world class solutions and customer service.
The identified candidate will be a member of a cross-functional team that provides general management and direction of an engineering organization and ensues all performance metrics are achieved.
Responsibilities\:
· Responsible for people management including resource planning, hiring, training, goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well-being.
· Organize the design activity according to the load, project complexity, and required skillset.
· Manage the Load/capacity of the team and develop versatility in it.
· Ensure technical quality and service levels are maintained throughout the engineering lifecycle.
· Define training according to skill matrix and competencies targets.
· Ensure compliance with project objectives are maintained within our product definition file and design intent.
· Continuous improvement of the design activity in terms of technical knowledge, efficiency, quality, and productivity.
· Ensure overall customer satisfaction and quality is delivered for both our internal and external customers.
· Leads change activity to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction with successful change management.
