Then come and join our global team as Senior Manager (f/m/d) Technical and International Standards Management in the central quality department to support our business areas, business lines, business horizontals and technology units as well as country organizations in the development, analysis and application-oriented interpretation of international and national standards, as well as relevant laws and guidelines regarding in-vivo medical devices and in-vitro diagnostic products.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

You will act as the central point of contact between our organizational units and country organizations in the assessment and implementation of product safety standardsYou will further develop our standardization strategy for global market access and guide your contacts in the business areas, business lines, business horizontals and technology units as well as the country organizations in its implementationYou will advise the organizational units on the selection and drafting of standards as well as on the implementation of legal requirements of normative quality requirementsYou will keep an eye on the standardization landscape, comment on draft standards and relevant legal requirements, and coordinate with our partnersYou will actively participate in national, European, and international standardization organizations, preferably at a strategic level, to ensure a workable standardization landscapeYou represent us in industry associations to ensure an effective and lasting exchange with authorities and other decision-makers based on our standardization strategyYou will be responsible for the independent implementation of internal conferences and training courses and create globally applicable guidelines

Your qualifications and experience:

You have a university degree in natural sciences or technologyYou have many years of professional experience with technical standards, in the field of regulatory affairs, quality management, research & development, or a testing laboratory, ideally for electromedical devicesThey are characterized by their knowledge of relevant international safety standards, including the IEC 60601-1 series of standards for medical devices and/or IEC 61010-1 for in-vitro diagnostic devicesRelevant experience in working with external partners such as standards organizations and associations round off your profile. Preferably, you have already contributed to standards development and gained experience in leading working groups in an international environment.Do you already have very well-founded, many years of professional experience and further qualifications in this field, but do not have a degree? Then we look forward to receiving your application
