Caterpillar’s Resource Industries Operations and Products (RIOP) division has an exciting position as Senior Manager Financial Planning & Analysis for the Surface Rock Drills (SRD) product group and operations. This position is responsible for partnering with the business to drive outcomes that will lead to profitable growth. In this role, you will be a strategic partner providing insights into many areas of the business and providing monthly financial support including analysis and forecasting. This position will report to the RIOP Tracked Products Director of Finance.
What you will do:
Manage all aspects of accountable analysis, insights, and reporting of financial results on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis for the SRD Product Group and Operations. Engage with the SRD product group and operations leadership to provide insights and analysis to inform business decisions driving profitable growth.Provide business analysis support by establishing target costs, cost monitoring, value chain analysis, investment analysis, sourcing analysis, product costing, and supporting new product introduction projects.Effectively lead, influence, and interact with a global and diverse team. Focus on talent development, succession planning, performance management, and target setting.Support Caterpillar Global Finance Strategy through transformation of our processes and automation to help generate business insights.What Skills you will have:

Finance and Accounting: Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results.Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Bachelor's degree in an Accounting or Finance related discipline. CPA or CMA preferred.Demonstrated success and progression in previously held Accounting or Finance rolesStrong communication, interpersonal skills, and executive presence with the ability to collaborate and partner across peers and leadershipPrior supervisory experienceAdditional Info:

$156,000.00 - $234,000.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
