Senior Manager Fixed Assets

Job Description

Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of Global Finance organization and responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Circle K Business Centre Record to Report team is now looking for another passionate professional to join our Fixed assets Team in a position of:

Senior Manager Fixed Assets

Main duties:

Ensure timely and accurate Fixed Assets accounting and reporting in accordance to Group deadlines and policy for:

Business Unit results

Consolidation of Circle K Europe Group results

Act as a primary point of contact for fixed asset related matters for our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partner Accenture India, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication

Oversee and secure timely and accurate service delivery from the BPO team, addressing any operational challenges as needed. Monitor the performance and provide guidance as necessary

Manage operational issues and challenges faced by the team, and ensure close dialogue with Service Receivers (Circle K Business Units and Circle K Europe departments) and various stakeholders in Europe and North America

Lead fixed assets integration to Group's ERP system for acquisitions

Ensure correct input and output for Asset Retirement Obligation accounting

Standardize, automate and improve Fixed Assets processes

Ensure development of, compliance to and maintenance of internal controls related to fixed assets area in accordance with the Company guidelines

Develop and lead a high-performing team of 12 employees, fostering motivation and growth

Oversee operational planning, staffing, recruitment and goal-setting

Ensure SLA and KPI targets are met while keeping the Service Provider Agreement updated.

Qualification & Experience:

University degree or higher education in accounting, economics or finance

Strong background in accounting, preferably within an international work environment

Solid knowledge of IFRS, including acquisitions accounting

Analytical mindset with strong excel skills and experience working with large datasets

Ability to grasp complex accounting and reporting processes and communicate them effectively

Experience in acquisition integrations

Proven leadership experience

Proven experience in process optimization and continuous improvement

Excellent communication skills in English, (both verbal and written) to communicate with Business Units and colleagues in Europe and USA.
