Lupin is comprised of a fast growing, innovative and robust team of manufacturing, Research and Development and commercial divisions. Together these entities make up the generic and branded U.S. business. Lupin has a significant generic pipeline, and a branded focus on women’s health. Our first Research and Development facility in the US is located in Coral Springs, Florida which focuses on generic and branded orally inhaled and nasal drug products. Somerset, New Jersey is home to one of Fifteen commercial manufacturing sites globally and the only commercial manufacturing facility in the United States for Lupin, as well as additional Research and Development teams. Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

This role will be part of the US FP&A team while closely partnering with the Specialty/Brand business as well as the Business Development function on M&A activities.

 

Business Development & Valuation:

Act as the primary Finance business partner for the Business Development teamPerform financial modeling to evaluate potential licensing or acquisition dealsConduct due diligence & analyze financials on pipeline as well as acquisition prospectsConduct scenario & sensitivity analysis

 

Budgeting / Forecasting / Brand P&L Analysis:

Develop short & long term dynamic financial forecasts/P&L. Collaborate with commercial team & develop/review forecast assumptions.Analyze monthly actual performance versus expectations; highlight changes to market dynamics & identify key sources of variance while providing their respective implications.Closely work with the commercial team to understand the market dynamics & impact on top lineTrack sales by product as well as customers. Keep track of budget & communicate any forecast deviations to managementConduct analyses to understand the impact of gross-to-nets (GTN) on pricing.Budget & manage spend in a detailed fashion at departmental and vendor level.Acting as the liaison and connecting the dots between Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain & Operations by integrating different key drivers & updating the forecast on a continuous basis

 

 

Management Reporting:

Lead & support the creation & maintenance of monthly reports that are shared with higher managementProvide insight & input on all relevant fronts to create informative reports to help the management with decision making

 

Other General / Ad-Hoc Financial Analytics:

Assist/lead the development of dashboards & reports for different purposes such as sales analytics, variance tracking, profitabilityAd-hoc financial analysis, Board presentation support & business process improvement projects as requested

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; Masters/MBA preferred (Finance concentration)6 to 8 years of progressive Finance & FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting, customer & product profitability, business performance tracking & trends analysis, new business analytics, management reporting & presentationsDemonstrated ability to work & communicate effectively cross-functionally with all levels of management; great communication & presentation skillsTop-notch Excel skills; SAP experience a strong plus, Financial modeling experience a mustProactive, motivated, analytical & strategic thinker with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude & requiring limited management oversightTeam player, capable of wearing multiple hats and multitask

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of the position generally include: standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing.
