Assist associates and lead consultants in serving our clients by reviewing client needs, recommending suitable approaches, and helping implement benefit program strategiesBecome steeped in the details and documentation of a clients’ current state of US healthcare benefit and group programs, such as plan designs, healthcare cost factors, the carrier contract marketing and renewal processes, compliance reporting and open enrollment periodsDraft and structure communications and collateral such as client emails, proposals, letters, reports, spreadsheets, and presentationsAnalyze, benchmark and compare and contrast healthcare data and then interpret results and present insights to the core teamAid in developing open enrollment benefit guidesEngage with client vendors regarding client deliverables, documentation and data, and issue resolutionProject manage and coordinate with internal stakeholders from specialty teams and centers of excellence to stay on top of client deliverablesCoordinate with actuaries to ensure they have all data required for their underwriting and that their inputs are accurately captured in client materialsMonitor day-to-day client interactions and offer support or escalate appropriatelySupport with client compliance requirementsManage and maintain client documentation and data filesUse Mercer’s proprietary tools, templates and best practicesInteract daily with US-based core client team membersWHAT WE VALUE
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with an aptitude for presentation design and storytellingStrong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, with the ability to articulate useful and noteworthy insightsCompetency in project management and superior organizational skillsIntellectual curiosity; seeking opportunities to develop new skills and to deepen knowledge of the US Healthcare industryAbility to work in teams and independently across multiple clientsFlexibility to work under tight deadlines and changing client needsStrong attention to detailPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior 3+ years of work experiencePrior experience in the US Healthcare industryA bachelor's degree with concentration(s) in business, math, statistics, economics, public health, and/or other related field is preferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office—Word, Excel, and PowerPointDesired work-shift 07:30 - 01:30 IST for significant overlap with US-based colleaguesWHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT
