Senior Manager- Insights
Responsibilities 1. Undertake full ownership of all Business Analytics, Consumer/Strategic Insights, NRM & Forecasting topics for Beverages and Snacks category Impact the business with insights and direction to deliver SWE Targets Own delivery but liaise with centralized reporting team for execution of market, portfolio, and brand level reporting of marketing KPI performance (dashboards, templated decks, reporting tools) Provide business performance explanations (drivers, optimization opportunities etc) incorporating considerations beyond data into the reporting Monitor channel, customer, competitor and emerging player performance and execute reporting at required intervals & on key events (One single formula transition, Carrefour sanctions etc.) Provide deep-dive analysis and responses to ad-hoc follow-ups when double-click is required, with tables/charts/stories using relevant data Lead/Support Analytics presentations and reporting with Category teams Prepare monthly & quarterly business review presentations – providing holistic diagnostics Drive Net Revenue Management strategy by providing clear insights on PPA, pricing & promo activation and other ad-hoc analyses Lead and manage end-to-end Perceived Value Study – from set-up to final presentation to NRM & Marketing leads Work on monthly SOM Forecasting BE & AOP targets leveraging IBP. Identify opportunities to automate & simplify BI processes/reporting Manage historical databases – create easy to use historical datasets based on recurring business questions Support development & adoption of centralized reporting tools (SMART, Commercial Cockpit) by providing input data, feedback on design & UAT Lead/support strategic projects for Beverages for example Cell cross Cell, TITAN 2. Being the single point of contact for Business Analytics needs for both Beverages and Snacks for Marketing, Sales, NRM Deliver against business Insights needs of stakeholders, requestors and end service users Be accountable for delivering output as per agreed scope, timelines, templates and content guidance. Monitor and act upon regular feedback inputs from deliverables end-users and Business Partners Flag and monitor any business risks related to delivering the operational output (Data systems, centralized Sharepoint Sites) 3. Process management Lead communications with different agencies with respect to Data Governance, study set-up, result deliveries, study interpretation (Nielsen, Dynata) Onboard/Lead new team members on category, market, tools & processes for their seamless integration in the team Act as first point of contact for all SWE topics for India Capability Center Qualifications A Analytics professional with experience in a leading consumer goods company. 9years+ experience Education: MA in economics, sociology, math, marketing or management Excellent business communication skills: Verbal and written business English Strong collaborator: Interested in and motivated by working with others. Actively participates in opportunities to co-create solutions. Knowing the Business Cold: Can easily see how insights/research learning can improve businesses impact and frames up reporting efforts and opportunities to inform business decisions Proven analytics, shopper research experience, consumer insights experience or commercial experience in a combination with strong analytical skills High degree of familiarity with CPG and Food & Beverage industry data sources, including Nielsen/IRi (POS and HH panel), GlobalData, Kantar Worldpanel, etc. Experience in CPG industry business performance measurement, reporting and analysis, and visualization Operational experience from business servicing sector and/or consulting experience would be a plus
