Role Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
The Senior Manager - IT will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and management of SAP and Newgen applications within the organization. This role ensures the smooth operation, optimization, and alignment of IT systems with business goals, while driving digital transformation initiatives and enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP System Management:
Oversee the end-to-end management of SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, LE & FI) and ensure system stability and performance. Collaborate with business units to identify, design, and implement SAP solutions to meet operational and strategic requirements. Manage SAP upgrades, enhancements, and customization projects. Monitor and resolve SAP system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, IT policies, and regulatory requirements.
Newgen Application Management:
Oversee the deployment and maintenance of Newgen workflow and document management solutions. Design and implement custom workflows to improve business process automation. Coordinate with stakeholders to enhance system features and integration with other enterprise applications. Monitor application performance and ensure system uptime, security, and reliability.
Team and Vendor Management:
Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure project success. Liaise with external vendors, consultants, and service providers to deliver IT solutions within timelines and budgets. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance for SAP and Newgen applications.
Project Management:
Drive IT projects related to SAP and Newgen applications, from planning to execution and go-live. Develop project charters, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to scope and quality standards. Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
Work closely with business leaders to understand their requirements and provide IT solutions. Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review system performance and gather feedback. Communicate IT strategies, roadmaps, and progress updates to senior management.
Compliance and Security:
Ensure data integrity and security across all IT systems. Maintain compliance as per the organizational policies. Conduct periodic system audits and risk assessments.

Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.SAP Certification (preferred).Experience:
Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven experience managing SAP and enterprise applications like Newgen or similar.Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of SAP architecture, modules, and best practices.Hands-on experience with Newgen workflow/document management systems.Familiarity with system integration, API management, and middleware solutions.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, databases, and cloud environments.Soft Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Diversity statement
