We are seeking a talented individual to join our AEM team at Oliver Wyman. This role will be based in Gurugram. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Senior Manager - IT Quality & Assurance Testing

Oliver Wyman Group Tech department is looking to hire a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to support the multiple initiatives within our firm. This role will work closely with Project Managers, Technical Leads, and Developers to preventing critical defect leakage to production.

Our Software Development Engineer in Test will create test cases, plan their execution, and perform

the testing activities of internal IT systems and software applications. Our SDET will need a proactive approach to never let anything slip by and not be afraid to get their hands dirty. Must perform the role and responsibilities with a high level of integrity, ethics, and commitment to service excellence.

We will count on you to:

Oversee the full test lifecycle, including designing, documenting, and executing test scripts with the goal of uncovering potential defects and preventing defect leakage into production.Collaborate with the development team to understand project design, requirements and design test cases accordingly.Design, document, maintain, and execute test strategies and plans.Develop automated test cases and perform manual tests for our products made with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Content Management System through the entire Software Development Life Cycle to ensure the highest quality.Conduct thorough functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing to identify and report defects, ensure cross browser compatibility.Set up and maintain the test environment and documentation to the industry standard levelsDocument test results, generate timely, effective and meaningful Test Summary Reports, bug reports.Liaise with testers, developers, and support staff on corrective actions or viable workarounds to incidents.Work closely with developers and business analysts to reproduce and resolve identified issues.Perform system-level testing, including end-to-end testing, to validate business processes, performance and data integrity.Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance the overall quality of our websitesParticipate in cross-functional discussions to review the impact of application changes from both internal and external interfaces on the quality of applications.Strong communication and writing skills with demonstrated ability to work as an individual contributor and in a dynamic team environment.Extensive knowledge and proficiency in Automated testing, smoke/sanity testing, Functional testing, Integration testingProficiency in using Cucumber/Selenium framework to develop the effective and through test casesIndependently identify and resolve complex problems utilizing functional and technical skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively within a team and interact with stakeholders, team player.Fluent in English - Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation, especially since this role requires influencing stakeholders and partners.Ability to manage multiple projects.Highly supportive of the business and its ideals and strategies.Results-oriented.

What you need to have:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, systems analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in test, Software Engineer or Quality Assurance Analyst, with the experience in testing tools and frameworksProven experience as a QA Tester/SDET with a focus on AEM.Strong understanding of AEM functionality, including content management, workflows, and custom applications.Proficient in test planning, test case design, and test execution.Extensive hands-on experience with AEM testing tools and frameworks, such as AEM test framework or Selenium.Working knowledge of development methodologies, Agile and Waterfall.Extensive experience in writing/reviewing requirements, developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and automated testing.Detailed understanding of the development lifecycle and quality assurance phases.Experience with functional, integration, regression, and load testing.CSTE/ISTQB or equal certification would be a plus.
