Leading a team of technologists and collaborating with global agile teams, you will deliver high-quality software products and services for leading clients in the US. Your role will focus on driving technical excellence, fostering innovation, and implementing best practices in software development. We are looking for a candidate with strong team leadership and architectural expertise, extensive experience in project delivery and client management, and a highly hands-on approach. **Responsibilities** **Your Impact:** + Provide strategic direction and guidance in the development and implementation of Java-based solutions Lead a team of technologists and work with global agile teams to deliver high-quality software products and services. + Drive technical excellence, innovation, and best practices in software development. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize technical requirements Architect and design scalable and high-performance Java applications Mentor and coach team members, providing technical guidance and support. + Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Java development Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality + Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines. + Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients. **Qualifications** **Your Skills and Experience:** + 10+ years of experience in software development using Java and related technologies + Strong understanding of core Java concepts such as collections, concurrency, and multi-threading + Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Apache Kafka Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native development + Deep knowledge of design patterns, software architecture, and system integration + Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript + Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities + Strong communication and interpersonal skills **Additional information** This position is hybrid: the client for this specific project requires attendance at our Sabana offices three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) during the first 2-3 months to ensure a smooth ramp-up. After this period, office attendance will become more flexible based on project needs.
