Responsibilities Make an impact Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary engineering team of approximately 20 engineers Be part of the global Product Engineering Management team Mechanical, electrical and software engineering of our best in class pallet storage technology with strong focus on the execution of our customer projects by using our standard product portfolio as well as developing customer specific solutions. Responsible for the overall budget and long term resource planning within the engineering team Align with our operations for Vectura and PowerStore in Sweden and China Responsible for detailed engineering of Pallet storage systems based on sales layouts and product standards Coordinate project specific developments Evaluate customer requirements for feasibility and cost-effectiveness in close collaboration with the sales department Implementation of global harmonization and standardization initiatives Strong focus on standardization and the advancement of our engineering toolchain Collaborate intensively with internal partners across sales support, project management, production, purchasing, product development and onsite teams Support the quotation process Actively support your team members in their personal development Application Requirements What you need to succeed A relevant degree, such as in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering Professional leadership experience in engineering within plant construction, ideally with a focus on intralogistics technology Solid background in project management with a structured approach to overseeing engineering projects Proficiency in common CAE systems, ideally including Siemens NX and PLM systems including Siemens Teamcenter Experience with Eplan P8 systems and familiarity with ERP systems, like SAP is a plus Good understanding of all mechatronic disciplines, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and PLC programming Strong teamwork abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for inspiring and motivating teams Solution-oriented personality with strategic vision and passion for collaborating in international teams Fluent in both Swedish and English Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30%) to our Swisslog locations
