You will be deeply involved in the continuous transformation of the manufacturing systems and capabilities needed to deliver enhanced play experiences through new digital components complementing the traditional LEGO® System in Play. **Core Responsibilities** + Manage complex engineering projects in the consumer industry, as a part of a cross-functional team (in-house and external EMS staff) including engineering, testing, NPI, manufacturing + Function as a leader, facilitate communication and enable your team members to deliver optimal results + Manage both new process platform development initiatives as well as adaptive and enhancement projects for already deployed process solutions + Mitigate and resolve potential escalations due to topics such as timelines, deadlines, budgets, change requests or similar in the process engineering domain. + Act as a central point of contact and advisor in regard to process development for both internal stakeholders such as Program or Project Managers and for our EMS partners + Own process engineering functional expertise in terms of DFX, Testing Platforms (AOI), act as the IPC expert on behalf of The LEGO Group + Establish internal Engineering and manufacturing competences for electronics parts and assembly in close collaboration with local LEGO site management + Help resolve complex engineering projects in the consumer industry, as a part of a cross-functional team (in-house and external EMS staff) including engineering, testing, NPI, manufacturing by utilizing your experience + Mitigate and resolve potential escalations due to topics such as timelines, deadlines, budgets, change requests or similar in the process engineering domain + Act as a central point of contact and advisor regarding process development for both internal stakeholders such as Program or Project Managers and for our EMS partners + Drive Process Engineering function of development projects in accordance with LEGO Development Launch processes (LDP). Ensure accurate risk analysis & highlight with proper data or information + Identify capability gaps between future need and current Processing capabilities and drive needed roadmap – development and execution. + Working closely with Development Engineering. **Play your part in our team succeeding** The Process Engineering organization is to build robust connections between the design team and the electronics manufacturing sites (internal and external). This area not only facilitates the introduction of new products by developing necessary manufacturing systems but also manages and supports the existing Tech Element portfolio in mass production. The organization actively collaborates with electronics manufacturing sites (internal and external) and key component suppliers hereby working with the relevant internal stakeholders. **Do you have what it takes?** + Master’s degree in engineering (electronics or mechatronics) - DFX and/or IPC certification is preferred + At least 10 years of demonstrated working experience in managing complex engineering projects, preferably in a multinational working environment + Proven track record in automation industry (medical, automation, consumer)with high level of design process milestone management + Solid knowledge of DFX methodology (mainly DFM), deep understanding of electronics test platforms + In depth working experience with EMS partners, in particular in joint development of process technologies (DFM), launch of projects (NPI) and yield optimizations. + Knowledge of Time Studies, Line Balancing, Lean Manufacturing, Bottleneck Analysis, Statistical Analysis + Capability to take initiative, recognize and act on opportunities + Professional level of English and Hungarian is a must + **The position is based in Budapest and requires a minimal ability to travel within Europe (approx. 1 time / month)** \#L1-RMF Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
