Pizza Hut is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager to lead a cross-functional Global Mission team dedicated to unpacking and unwinding complex business challenges using agile methodology that enables deep focus and a bias towards testing-and-learning. This leader will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives, partnering across various functional teams, regional market teams, and franchise partners, and utilizing deep analytical skills to draw out actionable insights that help us address key opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a credible and influential business partner, a collaborative team player, and an effective communicator with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Job Functions:
Oversee a cross-functional team that includes an Analyst and Scrum Master. Ensure that the team is working collaboratively, communicating effectively, and resolving conflicts as they arise. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Work closely with business leaders and stakeholders to understand, prioritize, and address complex business challenges. Manage up and across to ensure transparency, manage expectations, and drive results that align with broader business objectives. Conduct or facilitate ad-hoc analyses to provide in-depth understanding and root-cause identification of key problems, ensuring a holistic approach to problem-solving. Monitor and report on team progress, identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks that may be preventing the team from achieving its goals. Promote an agile mindset and ensure the Mission team operates effectively within Scrum and agile methodologies. Manage the product backlog and ensure that it is prioritized and updated regularly. Incorporate human-centered design principles to guide problem-solving and solution development processes that foster user-focused solutions that drive tangible business results. Proactively seek opportunities to share analysis insights to improve decision-making across the organization. Serve as a credible voice of truth, providing constructive feedback while ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. Lead the team through changing environments and diverse challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.
Qualifications:
High maturity of diplomacy and ability to see and rationalize multiple points of view Excellent people skills with demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across various departments, teams, and leadership levels to ensure alignment on priorities and solutions. Highly flexible with ability to adapt to varying team dynamics, business challenges, and organizational cultures. Solid understanding of business drivers and the ability to balance tactical needs with strategic impact. Proven track record of successfully adapting to different organizational cultures and business challenges. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership. Good working knowledge of agile principles and Scrum methodology and awareness of human-centered design methodologies.Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience in problem-solving, analytics, and inspiring a team in a competitive business environment.Preferred Qualifications:
