The Senior Manager of Monetization will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for AOL. This individual will be engaged with all aspects of monetization, including advertising, affiliate commerce, and subscriptions. By leveraging data-driven insights and innovative strategies, the Senior Manager will optimize existing revenue streams and identify new opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
Continuously analyze performance metrics, develop data-driven insights to inform decision-making, and optimize revenue across all monetization channels - direct sales, programmatic advertising, affiliate commerce, and subscriptions.
Identify, develop, and execute monetization strategies to monetize AOL's content and audience and maximize overall revenue.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of monetization strategies.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to identify potential revenue opportunities.
Experiment with new monetization models and approaches to drive innovation and growth.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in digital media monetization, with a strong focus on advertising and affiliate commerce.
Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to inform decision-making.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and optimizing monetization strategies.
Understanding of the digital advertising landscape, including programmatic buying, direct sales, and ad tech platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Passion for digital media and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.
Experience with subscription-based business models.
Knowledge of affiliate marketing and performance-based partnerships.

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,625.00 - $230,625.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
