Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee an effective management system to continuously identify opportunities for improvement while maintaining adherence to contract driven key performance indicators.
- Direct all Quality Control and Quality Assurance management operations including planning, implementation monitoring and reporting functions to ensure compliance objectives and targets are achieved.
- Develop and oversee an effective quality control and assurance systems for Operations to continuously identify opportunities for improvement while maintaining adherence to contract driven key performance requirements.
- Manage all Quality Control and Quality Assurance staff including Managers, Supervisors, and Analyst(s).
- Direct all quality management operations including planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting functions.
- Collaborate with technical staff to design and develop reports.
- Distribute reports and background information to staff and external sources as required.
- Extract, aggregate, pivot, review, analyze and present data in various formats to management.
- Interact with Management and Operations to summarize findings
- Analyze existing systems, programs, policies, and organizational processes.
- Document “best practices” and continuously measure outcomes for desired results and improvements.
- Develop and deliver quality control and quality assurance training for all employees engaged in quality and performance monitoring.
- Monitor all operations and related metrics for conformance with internal, external, contract performance, and quality standards.
- Aggregate and analyze quality data and suggest methods for improving product and service quality, design and/or business processes.
- Schedule and coordinate all the quality and performance monitoring activities of QA staff across the project.
- Manage internal and external clients' expectations related to quality management, and effectively communicate corporate quality standards across the project.
- Provide feedback on requirements and functional specifications.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all areas of project operations and reports quality issues to project and unit management.
- Maintain an awareness of state and federal quality assurance practices and provide all project teams with updates on all issues regarding quality.
- Produce quality assurance and performance reports as required by contract and project operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
The Quality Management Director is responsible for directing all quality management activities.
- Monitor the entire quality system to ensure that acceptable levels of performance are maintained by
- Ensuring that metrics are established to measure quality and assure that the processes they measure are within established quality standards
- Leading quality system continuous improvement activities
- Providing support for management review of the company’s quality systems and metrics
- Manage day to day maintenance of the quality management system but also to develop quality programs that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established internal and external standards and guidelines
- Works directly with stakeholders to provide process analyses oversight on a continuing basis to enforce requirements
- Ensures the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly and facilitates uniform standards worldwide and enables best practice sharing, thereby fostering the achievement of company's mission
- Define/lead/supports accreditation initiatives and activities.
- Define/lead/supports internal and external audit processes.
- Review and approve quality records including non-conforming event reports, corrective and preventive action reports, policies and procedures, document change control, deviation reports, etc.
- Provide regular status reports to stakeholders, sponsors, the enterprise, and others involved in the project.
- Build and grow our internal Quality team. Responsible for establishing performance standards, employee coaching and development, determining employee responsibilities, evaluating performance, and rewarding as appropriate, disciplining, and recommending termination when necessary. Identifies recruits and retains top-notch talent.
- Oversee the updating of Quality Assurance KPIs on all key quality system related performance indicators. Report out and participate in quality review and planning processes.
- Establish and actively manage expectations, provide training and mentoring to drive professional development for team members
- Completes other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 7+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High level of PC skills.
- 5+ years quality leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage people and teams.
- Quality Certification (e.g. Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence).
- Must possess strong communication, project management and leadership skills as well as have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- The candidate must be highly organized and disciplined and be able to demonstrate their ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, high analytical & problem-solving skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team.
- Experience in quality management systems is essential.
- Experience scaling the Quality function in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally to provide effective updates at executive level.
- Detail oriented with well-developed organizational and analytical skills.
- Creative problem solving, flexibility, and good negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to drive results to established timelines.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Must have experience managing remote business activities.
- Must be comfortable and effective acting as a catalyst for change.
