About this opportunity
This position is responsible for setting the visual presentation of the retail assortment by store location and size. You will be working directly with merchants and allocation team to provide solutions on how to best display product assortment to optimize selling. The ideal candidate is a creative who is results and detail-oriented individual with a passion for retail with experience in a home furnishings retail brand or interior design background. This position will also oversee the Manager of Visual Services, Field Visual Managers and will report to the Director of Visual Merchandising.
Responsibilities
Responsible for leading all-store implementation processes and driving consistent execution of the brand’s visual strategy to create an exceptional customer experience which include and not limited to conceptual presentations, merchandising and in store retail presentations.Translates the brand guidelines and sets directives to elevate the brand presentation in storesUnderstands and can speak to interior design, visual merchandising, and graphic design conceptsPartner with the Merchandising team to ensure all product is placed and has the best selling opportunityOversee roll out of all Visual presentation materials to the retail fleetOversee all floorplan merchandising strategies and meetingsOversee new stores from planning to executionContinually seek out inspiration, trends, and ways to elevate the product and its presentationEducation and Experience
5+ years of management experience in Visual Merchandising and/or Interior Design preferably in a fast-paced retail environment Bachelor’s Degree in a related fieldA high level of written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to communicate information, ideas, procedures, and processes in a logical sequence and at a level appropriate to the audience, resulting in effective working relationships.Excellent organizational, communication, time management, and prioritization skillsThe ability to lead, influence, solve problems, and work with all levels in the organization and in a cross-functional environment. An expert ability to think systemically and strategically and execute tactically.Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, In-Design), Microsoft Office, and Sketch Up preferredSuccessful experience with change management principles and demonstrated ability to drive and manage the change process from strategic planning through implementation and follow-thru.Who We Hire?
