Liberty Hardware Manufacturing seeks a Senior Manager of Operations to drive strategic leadership and growth, operational excellence, and efficiency for our multi-shift distribution center in Winston-Salem, NC. Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic oversight for all operations of the distribution center, including safety, inventory control, receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.Drive operational excellence by setting high standards, goals, and KPIs across functions, ensuring consistent alignment with company objectives and regulatory compliance.Lead, mentor, and develop the operations management team and staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.Hold accountability for P&L performance within your area, actively analyzing financial and operational metrics to guide decisions and maximize profitability.Establish and execute operational strategies that align with Liberty Hardware's goals for efficiency, growth, and customer satisfaction, utilizing data-driven analytics to monitor and improve performance.Collaborate cross-functionally with departments including customer sales, marketing, accounting, and product development to integrate distribution logistics with business processes.Analyze expenditures and financial data to shape budgets and policies aimed at growing profitability, improving service, and supporting new initiatives.Develop and present actionable insights and strategies to senior leadership based on reports and metrics that drive operational enhancements and support overall business performance.Ensure all operations comply with industry standards and government regulations, including OSHA and DOT guidelines, prioritizing safety and adherence to protocols.Identify development needs within your team and create tailored coaching and mentoring opportunities to address skill gaps and strengthen leadership capabilities.Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree preferred) and Six Sigma green belt+ preferred.Experience: 7+ years in logistics or distribution management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably managing multi-functional teams within an automated environment.Skills: Advanced expertise in operational efficiencies, analytics, people development, budgeting, Lean principles, and process improvement.Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with MS Office and experience in Warehouse Management Systems (Blue Yonder preferred).Leadership Qualities: Strong strategic and interpersonal skills with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to influence senior stakeholders effectively.Analytical Strength: Competency in cost analysis and data-driven decision-making to enhance performance and manage expenses, especially in high-growth, fast-paced environments.Travel: 5-10% as required. This position is onsite in our Winston-Salem, NC facility.Hiring Range
$90,000.00 - $130,000.00
