Job Description
As a Senior Manager Operations, you will oversee the Inbound Goods, Inventory Storage, Outbound Goods, and Shipping departments through managers and supervisors. With a disciplined and entrepreneurial approach, you will set goals, make plans, and distribute tasks to enhance efficiency and safety. You are enthusiastic and confident in your key role of applying automation and technologies to optimize processes and prepare logistics for the future. This role is added to strengthen the management team and contribute to its ongoing improvement and development.
Customer focus is central: you are eager to learn and continuously seek ways to enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring on-time shipment and minimizing pick and ship errors. You will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure efficient and error-free delivery, exceeding customer expectations. This position reports to the site director.

Advise senior management by conducting analyses and monitoring industry trends;Promote a positive work culture and improve processes;Establish work standards and expectations for the departments with your team;Collaborate with internal teams to define quality and performance standards for optimal customer experience;Ensure a good understanding and compliance with relevant policies and procedures;Manage unit performance through managers and supervisors;Use your judgment to select methods and techniques under limited supervision;Ensure and improve the health, ergonomics, and safety of everyone within the departments.Qualifications:
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.Advanced skills in delegation and follow-up.Strong leadership and management skills.Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.Analytical skills.Resilience under stress.Knowledge of Dutch labor law.Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma.
