Senior Manager Operations Maintenance (Field Based)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Senior Manager Operations Maintenance oversees the break/fix maintenance program for over 1500 Murphy USA retail locations through the continued management and evolution of strategy, resources, people, process, and technology to support our maintenance and facilities objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Setting the strategy and governance around break/fix maintenance partner selection and accountability to ensure the proper resources are available to accomplish maintenance and facilities initiatives aligned with corporate cost management objectives.
2. Engage in cross functional leadership collaboration that supports both corporate and maintenance related strategic initiatives
3. Responsible for planning and adherence to the break\\fix and capital budget.
4. Manages break/fix maintenance program to ensure maintenance work is completed in a timely, quality, and cost-effective manner. Handles escalations from the S&O team to ensure issues are resolved.
5. Leverage data to analyze spend, identify trends, and recommend ways to maintain maintenance costs.
6. Oversee a team of 3 Regional Maintenance Managers and 1 Operations Maintenance Specialist that are responsible for all aspects of break\\fix maintenance.
7. Support the development of maintenance leaders and talent to achieve organizational leadership pipeline objectives.
8. Lead for Asset Development department on emergency response team to coordinate response efforts for nature related events.
9. Work closely with the Environmental team to ensure repairs are completed quickly and effectively.
10. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as facilities management, construction etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 6 years related experience and/or training, and 3 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
