Senior Manager People & Culture

The Senior Manager People & Culture is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operation of assigned HR functions within the respective line of business/function/country.

 

The accountability spans from implementing HR operational strategies, analyzing people information and leading HR processes to proactively engaging in employee relations, executing employee development activities, and managing & implementing policies and procedures in support of the company culture.

 

What you do:

 

In absence of a local HR Country Lead, acts as a gatekeeper for local regulations/labor laws, ensures timely reporting to functional HRBP and coordinates the local HR generalist Proactively resolve HR queries for transactional / admin and payroll related questions Demonstrates employee advocacy and develops a reputation as a neutral and approachable HR professional serving all employees Performs types of work that are legally required due to workers council agreements or country-specific regulations and ensures adherence to local HR policies and procedures Supports the mediation of difficult employee relations and provide support related to employee relations queries Performs all HR related transactional country specific tasks (e.g. contracting, leave & exit mgmt., all system related HR inputs for reporting) Ensures delivery of high-quality HR processes Consolidate attendance and manage payroll related activities (if applicable) Communicates benefits-related changes and assists employees with questions regarding compensation Supports smooth execution of local engagement programs along with the CoE Provides on-site support for location specific HR activities (e.g., local onboarding) Performs local HR admin activities for legally required tasks (employee details, comp information) Actively participate and provide information for audits, risk, compliance

 

What you bring:

 

Minimum 5+ years of HR admin & Payroll expertise is necessary; Previous exposure to other HR areas would be a plus; Very good labor legislation & employee relations knowledge and experience is a must; Team-working, detail-oriented, responsible person, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; Able to work independently with good HR Consulting skills; Proven Integrity and trust; Fluent in English; Very good computer skills (Excel & PowerPoint);
