Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, Procurement Solutions
The current position is for a Senior Manager who would be required to create and commercialize procurement solutions for prospects across industry verticals and geographies. Solutions will carry elements of outsourcing, re-engg/ consulting, analytics and technology

Responsibilities
• Acquiring new customers to add to the procurement services portfolio
• Designing and implementing Sourcing Procurement solutions for operations to ensure uniformity and learning across engagements
• Incorporate elements of outsourcing, re-engg/ consulting, analytics and technology
• Be a part of business pursuits and engagements across the deal lifecycle
• Focus is beyond business as usual – opportunity to engage with the external world, prospects, clients to understand developments, benchmark the standard offerings and adapt Genpact’s approach to create high value add offerings
• Creation of intellectual property

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• Postgraduate (MBAs would have an advantage)/Graduate
• Experience in leading Sourcing and Procurement operations/processes for large global clients and hence understands operations
• Good understanding of AI and technology landscape within the procurement domain and deep knowledge of at least one platform would be an advantage
• Demonstrated experience in direct engagement with procurement leadership in client organizations
• Experience in backend BD/Solutioning would be an added advantage

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills – to lead, influence and participate effectively in cross functional teams and ensure delivery of the output
• Interest and curiosity to explore developments in the market through primary and secondary research
• Good understanding of outcomes and results – identify levers and potential impact
• Ability to bringing in new solutions and ideas
• Excellent communicator, good interpersonal skills, good presentation skills
• Ability to work in an ambiguous, virtual and multi-cultural environment with limited dependence on guidance and hands on support
• IT savvy – ability to integrate technology to make it a key differentiator in the customer services offerings we provide
• Ability to translate thoughts, ideas, concepts into presentations and written material
• Excellent Project time management skills - handle multiple deliverables simultaneously
• Strong experience in strategic sourcing and driving savings driven outcomes in organizations
• Strong operations experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Services - Experience of Procurement Technology Platforms is desirable
• Strong knowledge and experience in managing and/or driving strategic sourcing projects in direct or indirect categories (e.g. Packaging, IT, Professional Services, MRO, etc.)
• Strong client interfacing skills and consulting acumen – Past experience in long cycle Project Management
• Green Belt / Black Belt in Sourcing Procurement, SCM functions would be desirable
• Must have excellent communication, presentation and analytical (problem solving) skills
• Comfortable working with virtual teams uses appropriate communication channels tools (verbal / written - blog, email, collaboration tools, etc) to accomplish the tasks assigned
• Risk Taking, commercially savvy and able to independently deal with uncertainty with a positive attitude
