We are inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant-Product Engineer
Genpact PowerMe helps maximize the Data Discoverability, Reliability and Traceability in enterprises’ AI, Analytics and Business data landscape.
PowerMe is looking to scale with a focus on AI-led features of its Data Catalog, Data Lineage and Data Quality Platform towards support of planned use-cases and marketplace demands, and the Product Manager will play a leading role in this initiative.
Responsibilities
The Product Manager will
• Understand and translate the Platform and Genpact offerings’ use-cases to a prioritized backlog
• Write PRDs and user stories with wireframes and acceptance criteria (definition of done) for engineering teams, after understanding of customer feature requirements
• Analyze the competitive landscape and integrate with customer-success focus for use-case assessment and prioritization
• Interact with UI/UX developers in creating mock-ups and enhancing usability
• Review and approve the test plans for the QA teams and perform acceptance testing per the user stories
• Deliver initial product demos / onboarding sessions to decision makers and users at prospective or existing customers. Train Implementation teams to drive adoption programs.
• Develop user communication for features including feature notes / user guides / FAQs
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
• Product Manager / Sr. Business Analyst / Product Owner with experience of shipping software products / SaaS to large enterprises
• Education – B.E. / B.Tech. with experience as a Software engineer. MBA is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in documenting user stories in Jira, PRDs in Confluence, wireframe tools, and other tools as required to deliver on the responsibilities of the position
• Execution-mindset with ability to get hands-on (writing basic SQL queries, presentations / demos, configurations).
• Ability to deal with dynamic nature of product sales and deployments for large-enterprises, while maintaining a customer-centric focus.
Preference Qualifications
• Products or platforms in Data Analytics (e.g., Data Engineering, Data Quality, Business Intelligence, Data Marketplaces)
• Features that leveraged AI / Machine Learning
