Job Description

Position: Senior Manager - Product Lifecycle Management, Value-added Services

Reports to: Director - Product Lifecycle Management, Value-added Services

Job Summary: 

The Senior Manager, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) will oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of the PLM framework across the Value-Added Services portfolios. This role involves designing, documenting, and maintaining PLM standards and processes, ensuring product managers have the knowledge, resources, tools and support needed to excel. The Senior Manager will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align PLM best practices and drive product development quality, market-readiness and consistency. Strong strategic thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Lifecycle Management Excellence:

Collaborate on the formulation and execution of the PLM strategy and roadmap.Support change management, communication, and engagement initiatives across product management and cross-functional teams.Assist in designing and implementing a comprehensive PLM framework, including governance, metrics, processes, tools, and templates.Help establish and maintain PLM standards, methodologies, and PLM resourcesDevelop and track metrics and KPIs to measure PLM effectiveness.Build and manage a knowledge management system for sharing PLM insights.

Learning & Development:

Support the design and delivery of PLM training programs integrating the needs of different business units, regions and career stages.Co-create onboarding and certification programs for new product managers.Facilitate mentorship programs, knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and PLM community events.Inform the development of a career frameworks and growth paths for product managers.

Process and Service Design:

Develop PLM-related artifacts including personas, journey maps, process flows, instructional material, and templates.Document key processes, forums, and metrics for each phase of the PLM framework.Support the implementation of the PLM governance model and decision-making framework.Participate in the global effort to automate each phase of the framework.Produce insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve the PLM process.Lead ad-hoc strategic and operational projects related to product lifecycle management.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

Partner with product leaders to ensure PLM initiatives drive meaningful impact.Work with cross-functional teams to align on PLM best practices and processes.Build relationships with external PLM communities to bring best practices into the organization.Support leadership reporting on PLM effectiveness and improvement initiatives.Coach product leaders on best practices within their teams.

Qualifications

Basic 

You have 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhDProven experience in product management, with a focus on governance and strategic planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhDMBA or Advanced Degree is highly desirableExperience building PLM or similar organizational capabilities.Track record of developing and delivering training programs.Understanding of Agile, Lean, and other product development methodologies.Background in consulting, product development and process design.MBA or relevant advanced degree.Strong system thinking capabilities and superior analytic and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Figma, PowerPoint and Excel.Experience in the payments industry is a plus. Excellent influence skills, including integrity, credibility, empathy, and collaboration.Strong program management skills to coordinate and lead complex projects with cross-functional teams.Strong attention to detail and delivery of high-quality work.Self-motivated, humble, and curious learner with a growth mindset.Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex concepts clearly.Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage expectations and deliver results in a timely fashion.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

 

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 153,900.00 to 202,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
