ABOUT THE JOB

PROJECT DEVELOPMENTScout for new project opportunities in priority destinations ensuring strong alignment with the foundation´s 2030 Impact StrategyIdentify potential areas of engagement and develop innovative projects in destinationsShape project proposals according to TUI Care Foundation´s strategy in close collaboration with partner organisationsSupport partner organisations especially with tourism related expertiseIdentify and involve relevant internal and external partners in the destinations to improve project designs and outcomes Be a trusted confidant and a recognized subject matter expert on the social and economic programmes of the foundation Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts with project partnersClosely monitor project development on a regular basis and provide regular status updatesSTRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS & INITIATIVES Develop and manage key partnerships of TUI Care Foundation, in particular with international organisations and NGOsLead key strategic initiatives of the foundation Ensure close alignment between TUI Care  and partners in selected focus destination FUNDINGBuild and expand relationships with institutional donors and other players in the field of development cooperationIdentify and realize (co-) financing opportunities with institutional donors and other financing partnersEngage with relevant local stakeholders to drive opportunities to raise funds for for TUI Care Foundation projects in Least Developed Countries in particular

ABOUT YOU

A significant number of years’ experience in a (corporate) foundation / NGO or international organisation – preferably in the tourism sectorSolid experience of working in international contextsSolid experience in project development Experience of working with corporate partners as well as NGOsA proven track record in securing institutional grants in the context of development cooperationA proven track record in providing strategic counsel/reputational adviceExperience of managing relationships with external stakeholders, including journalists and political stakeholdersComprehensive understanding of the way a (corporate) foundation, NGO or international organisation operatesEvidence of personal success in managing projects across multiple countriesStrong evidence of creativity in the use of communications to enhance awareness for the work of an NGO or foundation and/ or to build corporate reputationAbility to build excellent relationships and the dexterity to operate in a complex matrix environment Knowledge of stakeholder mapping and engagementFluent English essential. Spanish and German desiredExcellent planning, management and organisation skillsAnalytical skillsInfluencing and negotiation skills
