Job Description

You are a highly skilled Senior Manager of Technical Revenue who can focus on high-impact, complex, revenue-recognition projects that elevate our accounting and reporting capabilities. This role reports directly to the Director of Revenue and is responsible for all revenue close and technical accounting activities.  As a Manager, you will have a strong mastery of current US GAAP and technical accounting pronouncements and must possess strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
 

Responsibilities:

Perform and assist in monthly revenue cycle controls including contract reviews, deal support, as well as detailed review of work performed by the teamResponsible for compliance with ASC606 requirements, including SSP setups & updatesPerform and assist in the performance of technical accounting research on all topics related to revenue and prepare/update memos as neededDesign and implement systems and processes to automate revenue recognition in alignment with revenue recognition policies and objectivesPerform close-related accounting reviews and analysesParticipate in close-related accounting reviews and analysesMentor India teams on various ongoing system/ process/ workpaper improvement initiativesWork with cross-functional teams, including Partner Program/ Operations, IT Business Applications, FP&A & Legal

QualificationsPublic Accounting Experience: Proven experience in public accounting, ideally with one of the Big 4 firmsManagerial non-audit experience & experience working with remote teams is requiredDeep understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles and standards & experience applying revenue recognition principles in complex SaaS or technology arrangementsExperience in implementing software tools such as. Zuora Revenue, NetSuite ARM for revenue recognition automationAdvanced Analytical Skills: Proven ability to handle intricate technical analyses and create clear, actionable reports or position papersAbility to adapt quickly and operate effectively in a rapidly scaling, dynamic environment

Additional Information

The annual base salary range for this position is $170,000 — $244,375 USD 

Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level. Bonus/equity may be available.

Please note this is a hybrid role that requires an in-office presence 3 days/week (Tuesday-Thursday).
