Senior Manager - Rewards
Site Name: India - Maharashtra - Worli Mumbai Posted Date: Nov 13 2024 Job Purpose: To ensure effective design and deployment of GSK Reward strategy within India Rx (across Commercial, Vaccines, CEP, Supply Chain, R&D and GSF) Management and delivery of all Reward (Compensation and Benefits) related activities for India Rx. ensuring high quality customer service delivery with best-in-class globally aligned processes. Key Responsibilities: Partner with key stakeholders to understand and translate the strategic objectives and reward needs of each business and function in the India across over 150 locations Deliver EVP (Employee Value Proposition) initiatives to ensure relevant Talent Attraction and retention for India Rx Data presentation for listed India entity to HR Country Head, GM, Company Secretary for relevant Board approvals as and when needed Leverage External and Internal Reward forums to ensure awareness of any new legislation, market practice and trends relevant to C&B. Design and implement a competitive compensation and benefit strategy, policies and practices within the global GSK Rewards framework to ensure that GSK is an employer of choice. Responsible for educating HR, Line Managers and Employees on Total Rewards to enable them to effectively manage Reward for their customer groups / team members. Implement any changes to GSK global Reward processes e.g. Performance & Reward, Job Evaluation, Recognition, Salary and Market Data Management within the India Rx business, while ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. Work with the Global Data Team to ensure all benchmarking data is aligned with the GSK Minimum Standards for Benchmarking. Use the analysed data to understand and proactively manage the competitive position. Includes ensuring the appropriate salary positioning of key talent / individuals in critical roles in partnership with the business. Provide salary / package recommendations for new hires, lateral transfers and promotions where they are out of range / above country threshold. And / or a more complex situation e.g. PIRs, IAs etc. Ensure that India Rx Reward decisions are made with a focus on Equality and Inclusion legislation / principles. And act as the country lead for the cyclical Fair Pay Reviews (globally driven activity). Manage, develop and maintain local Compensation and Benefits policies, while ensuring alignment with global policies and the Reward Governance Framework, where applicable. Drive process improvements and the Rewards standardization and simplification agenda Manage Benefits benchmarking, the design and implementation of new Benefits (as appropriate) while adhering to Benefits governance (including obtaining the necessary approvals for any changes in conjunction with Regional Reward). Provide input into global Reward initiatives via C&B SC Lead to help support the development of fit for purpose global processes. Participate in Regional / Global Reward projects, as required. Manage the Global Total Employment Costs process for India Rx. And provide support locally for the budgeting of employment cost to ensure adherence to budget Partner with HRBLs and business leaders to ensure management of costs whilst also delivering on our fair pay commitments. Support leadership level hiring, transfers & retirements for all C&B related areas & documentation Skills & Experience Required: Experience: 10-13 yrs Qualification: MBA/Post Graduation Extensive experience within fast-moving, complex and demanding environments where operational issues have to be handled on a large scale, and with a need to multi-task and deal with ambiguity Exposure to working in a highly complex organisation within a matrixed structure and with multiple lines of authority, leveraging influence within a complex network of stakeholders Experience of establishing and executing efficient and flexible operational processes that deliver customer requirements and the Reward agenda Compensation and benefits experience Understanding of retiral funds Project & Change Management Experience. #LI- GSK Why GSK?
