Job Details:
This role is responsible for managing rendered and blended byproduct sales for commercial feed accounts primarily (as well as some pet food and nutraceutical customers) to achieve volume and profit objectives of the organization. This role will take ownership of domestic sales and be involved in international export sales.
Other duties include building and maintaining customer relationships, managing and selling excess inventory, establishing and delivering sales plan objectives, assisting with the vision for business development and eventually owning the negotiation of weekly and some annual customer contracts and other duties as needed.
This role will work with and lead TEAMS cross-functionally with Margin Management, Production Planning, Food Safety Quality Assurance, Accounting, Operations Management, Nutritionists, and other business Team Members. A preferred candidate for this role needs strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Candidates must have the ability to build great relationships with Tyson Team Members and internal customers. Strong analytical skills, negotiation skills, leadership skills and great efficiency as a self-starter are all must-have traits of a successful candidate.
Requirements:
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 3 plus years of sales experience, Poultry Industry experience preferred. Feed or milling industry experience a plus
Computer Skills: Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, SAP experience preferred.
Supervisory Experience: This role is responsible for managing one Associate Customer Service Team Member.
Travel: 15 -20 annual trips
