“As a key member of our team, you will lead the change in optimizing our supply chain planning operations, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure efficient management and customer satisfaction. You will also be a Member of the Milk and Yoghurt SC Planning Leadership Team,” says Director of Supply Chain Planning Milk and Yoghurt (MY).

 

How you will make an impact:

In this role, you will lead and develop a high-performing Operational Supply Chain Planning Team, ensuring exceptional service delivery and cost efficiency. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across Arla to enhance production optimization, inventory control, and distribution. Additionally, your daily responsibilities will include:

Lead and coach the Operational Supply Chain Planning Team in MY business area (horizon: 0-8 weeks) to foster a culture of safety, service, and cost efficiency. Drive strategic change management initiatives within the supply chain planning landscape. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as Global Planning, Production, and Logistics. Collaborate closely and share best practise with peers within the global MY SC planning Leadership Team from Sweden, Finland and UK. Drive the service and waste dialogue in the DK Market in strong collaboration with Demand Planning as well as the Ass. Director Supply Chain Planning, CBP (Cheese, Butter and Powder). Ensure effective communication and inspire the organization with business acumen. Report directly to the Director of Supply Chain Planning MY, contributing to strategic planning and execution.

 

What will make you successful:

We are seeking a seasoned leader with a strong background in supply chain management and experience in the FMCG industry experience within Europe. Experience in the dairy industry is an advantage. Furthermore, you have;

5-10 years of experience in people management and leading through others. Strong educational background at master’s level in supply chain or management. Proficient in business English with planning experience preferred. Proven experience leading transformational change within a global matrix organisation. Ability to communicate and collaborate with senior leadership effectively.

 

On the personal level you bring strong team player qualities, and the combination of your business knowledge and communication skills enables you to influence others to move towards a common goal. You are skilled at developing relationships with the empathy to understand the human elements in a change journey, whilst retaining focus. You are resilient and determined to achieve your objectives but possess the flexibility to listen to push back and work collaboratively to achieve our agreed goals.
