The Senior Software Engineering Manager is a senior-level leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple software development teams, driving departmental strategy, and ensuring the alignment of software projects with organizational goals. They play a pivotal role in setting departmental goals and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

What you will do:

Lead and manage a team of support analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.Foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the software engineering department.Oversee the production processes for statements, documents, and plan summaries.Ensure timely and accurate production in accordance with established SLAs.Collaborate with development staff to identify and implement permanent solutions for production issues.Clear issues related to production statements and plan summary rejections promptly and effectively.Communicate the progress of production statements and plan summaries to relevant stakeholders.Provide regular updates on production status, issues, and resolutions.Manage and ensure compliance with statement and plan summary SLAs.Monitor performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed to meet SLA requirements.

What you will bring:

Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training required8+ years of experience in software development.Proven experience in managing support teams and production processes and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsExcellent communication and leadership abilities with a background in issue resolution and process improvement.Strong strategic planning, project management skills and the knowledge of production process and SLA management

Base Salary Range

$123,000.00 - $178,350.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
