Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in providing payments solutions for Small, Medium and Large businesses. GCS Global Marketing team is responsible for attracting, retaining, and engaging new and existing customers, with the guiding objective to Serve our Customers the Right Treatment, at the Right Moment and the Right Margins.
The Marketing Tech & Execution Capabilities (MTEC) team is responsible for ensuring that we allocate the technology resources necessary to deliver GCS Marketing business priorities and transforming our enterprise execution capabilities to enable faster and more efficient go-to-market processes.
The Marketing Tech & Execution Capabilities Team is seeking a Senior Manager of Strategic Planning Marketing who will manage the annual technology planning for GCS Marketing by developing a transparent planning model and providing centralized support to GCS Marketing. This person will be responsible for navigating the Enterprise Tech Planning Process and driving prioritization across GCS Marketing roadmap. To support these efforts, the team partners effectively with numerous stakeholders across product and technology teams to build new products for our customers. We also work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to support strategic decision making for the business.
**How will you make an impact in this role?**
+ Develop and run annual planning process; focused on a proactive and transparent approach across GCS Marketing.
+ Act as key point of contact between GCS Marketing, GCS Central Planning and other key partner teams to facilitate the annual strategic planning process.
+ Manage intake method for new technology demand, through annual planning processes, consulting with marketing teams to assess their requests
+ Develop ongoing updates and regular written check ins to the annual planning process providing transparency throughout the process.
+ Facilitate prioritization sessions as needed to support leadership decision-making and ongoing prioritization.
+ Lead efforts to improve cross BU collaboration across shared Tech Priorities, enabling more collaborative and structured Enterprise BIDs.
+ Continue to help define Roles & Responsibilities and expand partnership across GCSM Tech Landscape (Marketing, NPD, GCS IP, LPM)
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Excellent project management skills with the ability to drive work forward across a complex enterprise process.
+ Highly motivated individual with excellent collaboration and influence management skills.
+ Solid communication skills with the ability to tell a story to leadership utilizing complex inputs and creating transparency.
+ Strategic thinker with the ability to connect the dots to formulate winning tactics across the business.
+ Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills; ability to streamline messaging across various audiences.
+ 5 years of relevant experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Detail oriented with the ability to understand complex processes and translate them effectively to business partners across the organization.
+ Comfortable in white space and working across an evolving landscape.
+ Direct experience working across the AXP Annual Tech Planning Process
**Qualifications**
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits
