The Senior Manager Systems Engineer (m/f/d) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to further enhance the development of our Clinical Laboratory Automation Systems and will lead our engineering team.
This position is part of the R&D department located in Munich and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving innovative solutions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Oversee design, development and maintenance of complex systems ensuring they meet customer needs and industry standards.
Lead, mentor and manage a team of systems engineers to achieve business goals and deliver high quality products.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams such as product management, SW/HW development and operations to ensure seamless integration and delivery of systems.
Manage the entire systems engineering lifecycle, from concept development to post-implementation support.
Develop and implement engineering processes and standard to improve efficiency and quality.
The essential requirements of the job include:
MSc or PhD in Engineering / Science
10+ years’ experience in development of mechatronics systems
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience in regulated environment, preferably diagnostic medical devices
Ability to influence leaders and create fellowship
Ability to lead and collaborate with others to achieve business goals
Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Professional certifications such as INCOSE
